United Nations Security Council
October 24, 1945, in the ruins of WW2 , the United Nations Security Council came into existence. A light in a world darkened by international terrorism, armed conflicts and humanitarian crises. The principal organ of the UN, consisting of 15 states and five permanent members, is tasked with the crucial role of maintaining global peace and security. Within its arsenal is the capacity to impose sanctions, authorize military intervention and create resolutions that can be legally binding on member states. The UNSC is a dynamic force in global-affairs, with fiery debates and discussions being second-nature to this committee.

Adil is an individual who yearns to understand and explore the mysteries the world has to offer: from the mystifying past of the human species to the fate of the cosmos. If you see him at school, there is an overwhelming chance he's absorbed into something in Maths or Physics; more specifically, a mix of being utterly confused,bewildered and awe-inspired, while fervidly chasing the moment it all clicks. Similarly, MUN and debate draws in him - particularly the pursuit of expanding the horizons of his ability to argue and convey ideas.

Hansi is an enthusiastic learner with a notable MUN track record representing major countries. A distinguished speaker, academic achiever, and proficient dancer, she excels across diverse domains. Her affable, persistent demeanor enhances committee session efficacy. Currently pursuing AS-level studies in sciences and mathematics, Hansi blends intellectual acumen with creative prowess. While she is aspiring to a medical career, her dedication spans scholarly and humanitarian pursuits. Particularly noteworthy is her ability to navigate complex situations, mirroring her dance artistry. As the co-chair of UNSC, she hopes to bring a unique, multifaceted perspective, ensuring dynamic discourse within and beyond committee chambers.
